UPU admission, matriculation and scholarship notices for Universiti Malaya, USM, UKM, UPM and UTM

Every year, hundreds of thousands of candidates submit applications through UPU (Unit Pusat Universiti), the centralised intake operated by the Ministry of Higher Education. The five research universities — Universiti Malaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia — run admission, matriculation, hostel allocation and a robust scholarship system (JPA, MARA, Yayasan). 4notify delivers admission outcomes, matriculation prompts and scholarship reminders across SMS, push and e-mail.

Preamble

Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 and the Education Act 1996 and the policy direction of the Ministry of Higher Education, this Warta is issued concerning the delivery of higher-education notices.

University-side event subscription

4notify receives admission, matriculation and hostel-allocation events from the university side; each is normalised onto a single envelope.

Scholarship reminder

JPA, MARA and Yayasan scholarship instalments are reminded at the start of each month; hostel allocation is accepted with a QR code.
