ATAR release, UAC offers and HECS-HELP notices: delivery to Australian students

Each year hundreds of thousands of students receive their ATAR and move through the UAC offer rounds. Universities issue enrolment and orientation notices, and HECS-HELP balances are managed via the ATO. 4notify delivers ATAR release, UAC offer notices and HECS-HELP reminders by SMS, push and email.

Section 1 — Pursuant to the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (Cth) and the admissions arrangements of the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), this Gazette is issued in respect of the delivery of higher-education notifications.

Offer-round day: push (instant) + SMS (2 min fallback) + email (5 min fallback).

03

HECS-HELP reminder

HECS-HELP indexation and census-date reminders are scheduled; orientation places confirmed with a QR-coded acceptance.

The 4notify difference

4notify is the only A2P provider that ingests UAC and university admissions events, delivers offer decisions across push/SMS/email in one envelope, and tracks the HECS-HELP census-date schedule.

Frequently asked questions
Does 4notify replace UAC?

No. 4notify sits downstream of UAC and the universities: the university makes the decision, 4notify delivers the notice to the student on their preferred channel.

Are international students handled differently?

Yes — international applicants receive separate templates covering CoE, visa and orientation notices ahead of enrolment.
