Parcel, delivery and pick-up notices: GhanaPost, DHL Ghana, Yango Delivery and private carriers in one canonical envelope

Ghana moves millions of parcels every year across the GhanaPost universal postal service, DHL Ghana, Yango Delivery and private courier networks. 4notify normalises every carrier-side event into a single envelope schema and delivers "out-for-delivery", "delivered" and "pick-up point ready" alerts with SMS keywords (RESCHEDULE, PICKUP).

Preamble

Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission Act, 2003 (Act 649) and consistent with the consumer-protection obligations under the Public Health Act, 2012 (Act 851), this Proclamation is issued concerning the normalisation and delivery of parcel events.

Carrier webhook normalisation

4notify ingests webhooks from GhanaPost, DHL Ghana, Yango Delivery and private couriers; the schemas converge into a single canonical envelope.

Pick-up pre-confirmation

Customer SMS reply (PICKUP YES) is captured and forwarded to the carrier API ahead of the delivery attempt to minimise failed first-time drops.

Delivery-window dispatch

Notice fires 60 minutes before the two-hour window opens; a one-tap reschedule link rides on the same envelope.

Delivered + photo proof

Delivery confirmation carries a photo-proof URL if the carrier supports it; envelope retained for 28 days.
