Hong Kong handles tens of millions of parcels a year across the universal postal service Hongkong Post, the dominant cross-boundary courier SF Express HK, ZTO and DHL Hong Kong. 4notify normalises carrier-side events into a single envelope schema and delivers out-for-delivery, delivered and ready-for-pickup notices, with SMS keyword handling (CHANGE, LOCKER).

Preamble

Whereas, by virtue of the Post Office Ordinance (Cap. 98) and the carriage agreements between the carrier networks and the merchant, it is hereby ordained concerning the normalisation and delivery of parcel events to Hong Kong recipients.

Implementation

Carrier webhook normalisation

4notify receives webhooks from Hongkong Post, SF Express HK, ZTO and DHL Hong Kong and converts them into a single canonical envelope.

Locker pre-confirmation

The recipient's reply (LOCKER YES) is captured and forwarded to the carrier API before the out-for-delivery sweep.

Delivery-window notice

Sent 60 minutes before the start of a two-hour delivery window; one-tap reschedule link.

Delivered + photo proof

Delivery confirmation with the photo-proof URL where the carrier supports it; envelope retained for 28 days.
