SIGNALER · 4NOTIFY SIGNAL BOOK
Norway is more than Nordkapp — each signal is its own code
In Norway, 99% of the population uses BankID, 80% use Vipps daily, Altinn handles 2,000+ forms, Helseplattformen covers 5.5M patients, Equinor operates 200+ offshore platforms in the North Sea, and Posten delivers 300M+ parcels yearly.
All in a country with three mobile carriers (Telenor, Telia, Ice) and two key authorities: Nkom for telecoms and Datatilsynet for data protection. 4notify delivers SMS, email, push and OTP with signed audit trail per notification — plus Inmarsat/Iridium satellite fallback for offshore.
Each signal in the book — Norway's edition of the 4notify playbook — covers one vertical: BankID/Vipps authentication, Straks payments, Altinn tax, Helseplattform e-resept, Vipps Handel, Posten/Bring tracking, Equinor offshore alarms, Kystverket sea warnings. All bilingual nb/en. All with signal code, ICS flag letter and position.
