RÚ SR and Slovak mobile prefixes: numbering, sender ID, STOP

RÚ SR (Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services) oversees Slovak mobile numbering and A2P duties towards 4 local carriers: Slovak Telekom (Magenta), Orange Slovensko, O2 Slovensko, 4ka. 4notify delivers SMS to +421 numbers via tier-1 international A2P gateway.

§ Scope

Many platforms route Slovak SMS through tier-2 EU aggregators. Result: alphanumeric sender ID dropped, delivery falls below 88%, STOPs never return.

Alphanumeric sender ID allowed up to 11 chars; spoofing sanctioned with suspension.

§ Procedure

§ 1 Register sender ID with tier-1 gateway

Max 11 chars; commercial documentation (Slovak IPO or EU TM); 3-7 business day activation.

§ 2 STOP / NEPOSIELAJTE keyword automatic

4notify handles STOP, NEPOSIELAJTE, PRESTAŇTE, HELP; number unsubscribed from all future campaigns.

§ 3 HLR lookup + per-operator DLR

Before dispatch HLR identifies current carrier (~35% portability). Per-operator reason code DLR in dashboard.
