SEPA Instant Slovakia: confirmations for Slovenská sporiteľňa, Tatra banka, VÚB, ČSOB

Slovakia as eurozone since 2009 fully supports SEPA Instant. From 2026 inbound instant transfers 24/7 are mandatory. Slovenská sporiteľňa, Tatra banka, VÚB and ČSOB are live; smaller banks (Prima banka, Privatbanka, mBank SK) rolling out. 4notify confirms payments to customers within seconds with counterparty identity.

§ Scope

Old „your order is being processed" no longer suffices — customers expect real-time confirmation like in mobile banking apps. Those who don't provide it lose users to neobanks.

§ Procedure

§ 1 Webhook from core banking

Core banking sends payment event to 4notify within 1s of instant clearing. Payload contains sender_iban, receiver_iban, amount, sepa_id.

§ 2 Reception templates

Six templates: incoming, outgoing, rejected_insufficient, rejected_vop, pending_recall, recall_done. Bilingual sk/en.

§ 3 IBAN masking in SMS

SMS shows only last 4 digits of IBAN; full IBAN in app after authentication.

§ 4 Dual channel delivery

Push first for app users; SMS fallback in 5s if not acknowledged. Email only for amounts >€2,000 as durable record.
