Studielink enrolment, RIO higher education registration, UVB inscription and DUO student finance for Dutch students

350,000 Dutch students go through the Studielink cycle annually. RIO is the central register for higher education; DUO manages student finance. 4notify delivers enrolment confirmations, accommodation allocations and DUO payment reminders via SMS, push and email.

Preamble

Pursuant to the Higher Education and Research Act (WHW) and the Student Finance Act 2000, DUO in consultation with Studielink and the Association of Universities issues the following Notice.

DUO instalment regime: 3 instalments per academic year (sep / jan / apr).

Studielink event subscription

4notify ingests Studielink Hub events at institution side; enrolment, conditional / unconditional / accept / withdraw.

02

Two-channel decision delivery

Enrolment decisions: push (instant) + SMS (2-min fallback) + email (5-min fallback).

03

DUO instalment reminder

Three DUO instalments per academic year (sep / jan / apr) with T-7 reminder.
